Manufacturer of Petroleum Products, Light and Heavy Hydrocarbons, Solvent and Base Oil
IVAN Petro Refinery is capable of producing light and heavy hydrocarbons petroleum products in compliance with Euro 4 and is ready to produce a variety of petroleum products according to standards and requirements in destination countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Armenia, and Turkey. It is worthy to note that all stages of refining, distillation and DMC ( sulfur and mercaptan separation ) in this refinery are with no pollutions and conducted in compliance with environmental codes.
Base oils are considered as the main material in the production of lubricants, which after adding various additives, the final product is the same as the lubricant. Base oils make up the bulk of any lubricant, which is about 95% by weight.
This Company is proud to produce lubricants used in industries and internal combustion engines by using domestic capacities and benefiting from the latest knowledge in the world.
This Company is located in Ivan industrial city, 32 Km from Ilam gas refinery, 85 Km away from Parviz Khan Borders with a distance of 130 Km from Mehran Borders. This location for the refinery was selected based on low distance from Iraq borders to benefit from Iraq petroleum products as well as Ilam condensate products which reduce the chance of running out of inputs to the minimum possible.
Also, this location provides the chance of cooperation with refineries in Kurdistan and southern areas of Kurdistan to maintain necessary inputs, conducting refinery process and shipping of the final product which will be more enhanced with low shipping costs in the area that will justify the economic feasibility of this cooperation and turns it to a possible benefit for this refinery. There is potential to develop the capacity of the refinery and to cooperate with several destination markets.
Refinery input: gas condensates, light and heavy naphtha from Iran and Iraq, in-house and imported oil fractions. Gas condensates and some other inputs contain impurities such as sulfur, nitrogen, and oxygen, so in the beginning of production they will be entered to DMC unit and after demercaptanization process heavy and light separation happens in distillation units.
Can be provided from domestic gas refineries such as Ilam, Jam, South Pars and Assaluyeh
Available from domestic and foreign sources such as the Iraq - Kurdistan region
Can be supplied from domestic and foreign petrochemicals such as Shazand Petrochemical
